Trucksters (http://trucksters.io/), is a rising scale-up in the International Road Freight Transport Industry and we have an exciting opportunity for a business development specialist (full-time), with an accentuated growth projection. We are a digital transport operator focusing on optimizing long-hauling in Europe. Thanks to our truck relay system, which allows multiple trucks and trailers switching among each other, we are revolutionizing trucking.

We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Manager, reporting directly to our Head of Sales, and you will be focused on the Germany region.

We are interested in talented individuals with experience in the industry, a high level of motivation, ambition and sense of responsibility that will support the development of our sales cycle as a whole: from client identification, to client qualification, to client first contact (calls) to deal closing.



What do we need from you?

  • Bring strategic business to Trucksters in one of the key corridors (50k€ in brought monthly revenues expected at the end of the first 3 months. )

  • Commercial planning and leadership: segmentation of clients, prioritization of actions and commercial visits, participation in international transport fairs, negotiation, etc.

  • Commercial visits to clients promoting the international transport services and its differential values against competitors.

  • Presentation and monitoring of proposals and offers to international customers.

  • Coordination with operations departments to check capacity, flows and synergies of new commercial opportunities related to current operations.

  • Coordination with the Finance Department for the evaluation of customers’ risks and approvals.

  • Definition and analysis of customers’ KPIs (invoicing, quality, profitability, etc.) and associated decision-making (rate increase, cessation of the relationship, etc.).

  • Management of the CRM tool and pipeline.



Job requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience selling transportation services

  • Solid portfolio of first hand cargo clients which can be brought to Trucksters, in one of the key corridors

  • Client contacts in the following sectors: Electronics, Ecommerce, Textile & Fashion, Courier Express and Parcel,

  • Automotive, Pharma, Perishables. Everything that needs fast and safe transport.

  • Fluent in German & English is a must. Others are a plus.
